Trip to Virginia Beach

The weekend after Labor Day, we took a trip to Virginia Beach. We had a great time on the beach. The weather was perfect. Alex really enjoyed walking along the shoreline with Dave and Aubrey enjoyed playing in the sand....building sandcastles and then tearing them down. We can't wait to again next year.

This is our current life....painting

This is what our new house is starting to look like as we try to figure out what colors to paint. Our dining room walls were painted dark blue. However, that had to go and we started the task of trying to figure out what color to go with. Here we started with samples of a burnt red/orange....then went to samples of a beige/light brown....



and finally ended with a sage green. I wish I could get a picture of the whole room, but this is the best I have.

We are looking forward to having people over to eat in our dining room. But before we have people over, we have a few more rooms to go.

Cleaning Windows

Cleaning Windows Together....if only they could be convinced to do it this easily in 10 years.

Sharing

Occasionally, there are moments when they share and play together. These are the moments I like.

Spray Park

We went to a local spray park a couple weeks ago with Marissa. I think everyone had fun. Here is Marissa and Aubrey. Aubrey was a little timid, but Alex had a blast.

Old Home and New Home

On the last day that we had the townhouse, we took a picture of us on our porch. We had a lot of good memories in this place....

.....But we are ready to have even more wonderful memories in this new house.
