Sledding in Virginia

We finally got some snow a week ago.  Not much, but we got some snow.  Most of my Michigan friends and family will probably laugh at these pictures due to the lack of real snow, but down here, you do what you have to do.  We didn't have any snow last year and I am not sure if we will have anymore this year, so we decided this was enough to try some sledding.

I was there too....can you tell I was a little cold.

But after many times down, both Alex and Aubrey said that they were tired of walking up the hill back to the top. So Dave pulled them back home on the sled. Of course, hot chocolate and marshmallows were necessary to warm them up.

By the way, we do occasionally get a lot of snow here, but not very often.  Check out these pictures from a couple years ago.
