Trip to a Butterfly house

During our trip to North Carolina, we went to a Butterfly show/house. Alex and Aubrey loved to see the butterflies on their sugar pads. They liked that they were able to hold the butterflies in their hands (but they didn't like it when they flied onto their heads). Thank you to Jennifer for suggesting this place to us. We were fortunate that it was a beautiful day (it was cloudy, but that was good). Maybe we can go again next time.

Swinging Twin Cousins

We went to North Carolina last weekend to visit Dave's Mom.
During the visit, we also got to see Dave's Niece's Twins. We actually got them all to sit on the swing together.

This is Alex's current toy of choice. He refers to it as LONG TRUCK. So if you ever happen to get Alex on the phone, he is sure to mention his LONG TRUCK. Currently it is in Alex's bed. He sleeps with it every night.

Trip to the Pacific

During Dave's trip to Oregon he took a trip to the beach with Dave's sisters family. He had a great time.

Dave had a great time out in Oregon. He was glad to be able to join in the celebration.

Picnic lunches

We have been eating a lot of picnic lunches lately. This one happened to take place during our family bike weekend last weekend in Maryland. All the families packed a lunch and we ate it halfway through our bike ride. Fortunately Alex's favorite sandwich is peanut butter and jelly.

Happy Anniversary

Well we have survived 6 years of marriage and it has been a wonderful adventure. I couldn't have asked for a greater man to share these years. I am so happy that we are together.
