I am getting a little bigger. Here is an updated picture. I had to go out and buy a couple new shirts for my growing belly. This was taken at 33 weeks 1 day.

Babies Update

Well our Internet at home is on the fritz. Luckily, it is working on Dave's work computer so he can still get his work done, but it is not working on our personal computer. So needless to say, I can't put pictures on the blog until it is fixed. We hope to figure it out this weekend...if we can. I have an updated picture of ME that I just took last night so hopefully we can put it on the blog soon.

We did have an ultrasound this morning. So far, the boy is weighing in at 4 lbs 11 ounces. The girl is slightly smaller at 4 lbs 5 ounces. The boy is breach, but the girl has turned herself to be heads down. So we will have to see what happens in the next few weeks.

Marissa's Visit

Marissa, Dave's daughter, came to stay with us for a week. We are having a good time and we hate to see her leave tomorrow. She has been having a nice week with her Dad. They have gone out to lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant, seen a movie at the theater, went clothes shopping, went to the Natural History Museum, seen an IMAX movie, and went to a butterfly exhibit. Tonight we celebrated with an early Easter dinner. It was very good. Unfortunately she leaves tomorrow. : (

Here is a picture of them getting ready to go into the IMAX movie which was in 3D.

Baby Shower at My Work

Yesterday, we had a baby shower at my work. It was a wonderful event and everything was put together very nicely. We received a lot of wonderful gifts. It was very kind of everyone who gave gifts and who contributed to make the shower extra special.

Special thanks to Kathy for helping put everything together.

Here is one of the gifts that we received.

Dave's Kids

Well, I decided it was time to add another post, but not much new on the babies. Dave and I are taking our Childbirth class through the hospital. I thought it would calm some of my nerves about the whole thing, but it is actually making me a little more nervous. But I guess we will just have to wait and see how the whole thing plays out.

I thought I would add some news about Dave's kids.

Jamison is in India on his mission through his church. The mission lasts 2 years. Well on Saturday, March 15, he celebrates his 1 year anniversary. So only 1 more year to go. We hope he celebrates with something fun, but we will have to wait until his next email to see what he did. So far, he says the first year went fast and he is having a good time.

Marissa flies in next Monday to spend about a week with us during her Spring Break from High School. I am sure we will have a good time when she visits.

Jessica, Dave's oldest daughter, is doing good. She is on a quest to find a job and doing her best.

Update on the Babies

We had an ultrasound last Thursday and everything is going well. The only bad thing is that they have both changed from being heads down to being breach, so that means that right now a c-section may be in the plans. We will have to wait and see if they move back. To some good news, their weight is right where it should be. The girl is at 3 pounds 3 ounces and the boy is at 3 pounds 5 ounces.

Here is a picture that was taken a week ago. I am a little slow in getting it on the blog. I will try to be better. : )

28 weeks 6 days.

Busy Weekend

Last weekend was a very busy weekend. We had a wonderful time though.
Some of my family....my mom and 2 sisters (Kendra and Andrea) were in town. Also, some of Dave's family were here too.....his mom, his brother and sister-in-law (Chuck and Deanna) and their daughter (Jennifer). It was nice to spend time with all of them. We were so glad that they drove and/or flew a long way to be here.

For Friday night, I planned a surprise birthday dinner for Dave's 50th. It's a couple months early, but in a couple months we will be too busy to go out to dinner. I invited some of Dave's close friends and family and we celebrated with dinner at Heart in Hand Restaurant. We had a wonderful time with all of our guests and I was glad that it was still a surprise for him.
On Saturday, I had a baby shower. We had a great time and I am very thankful for all the gifts that I received. I appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness.... especially with the twins coming soon. Special thanks goes out to Courtney and Annette for planning and making it a great event.
