Birthday dinner and cake

Dinner at Ghatool's for Alex and Aubrey's Birthday. Look at all the delicious food she made for us.

She did a great job and it was very delicious.

Ghatool and her husband Rafi. Ghatool takes great care of Alex and Aubrey during the day and she made us the delicious dinner for Alex and Aubrey's birthday. Her and all of her family are just so kind and loving to Alex and Aubrey.

First Birthday is fast approaching

Alex and Aubrey's First Birthday is approaching in just a couple days. Tuesday, April 28th, is the special day. We are so happy and scared. It has gone by so fast.

First Bike Ride

Here are pictures of Alex and Aubrey getting ready for their first bike ride.

Alex rode with Dave and Aubrey rode with me. They actually seemed to like it. It was a short ride. Maybe next time we can add a few more miles.....we just didn't want to push our luck.

On Friday night, we all clapped and danced around the living room with our helmets on to get them used to them. (I am glad no one saw us, we probably looked very silly.) Then, we did the bike ride on Saturday.

Alex looks a little nervous, but he enjoyed the ride.

Aubrey has such a small head that her helmet seems huge.

Babies to Toddlers

I had to change the name of our blog from "Dave, Neala and Babies Two" to "Dave, Neala, and Toddlers Two". I don't know if they are officially toddlers yet...but they are walking now so they aren't really little babies anymore. Well, they will always be my babies. They will be 1 year old in about 2 weeks. Wow, where has the time gone. It is hard to imagine, that 1 year ago, I was in my last 2 weeks of pregnancy.

On Saturday, we went downtown to see the cherry blossoms in DC. It was pretty, but Saturday was very very windy and very very cold (at least while we were downtown). We didn't stay very long. Jamison (Dave's son) is visiting this week, so he joined us.
