Kendra and Rob's Wedding
We had a wonderful time at Kendra and Rob's Wedding. We were so glad to be part of her special day. It was such an honor.
Here are the men before the wedding. Isn't Alex such a cutie! Dave was a groomsmen and Alex was the ring bearer.

Alex, Aubrey, and Kendra's daughter Olivia walking down the aisle. They all made it down the aisle, but once Olivia saw Grammie, she decided to just take a seat.
When Alex and Aubrey first made it up to the front, they stood nicely. Then the ceremony started and these are the looks and poses we got. There were a lot more pictures, but I figured you all didn't want to see 20 poses of Alex and Aubrey wondering how long this thing was going to take. : )
My FAMILY.
Olivia, my Mom, Alex (doing a silly pose), me, Aubrey, Kendra, Rob, Andrea, and Dave.
Kendra and Rob's Wedding Rehearsal
Alright, I finally am backtracking and filling in some of my previous pictures. My sister Kendra, my Mom, and my cousin Bridget, all took pictures and have shared them with me. I am so glad. Loosing my camera was very depressing and I have been having a hard time posting any pictures because I have been so upset about losing all those pictures.
We did have fun at the rehearsal.
Aubrey, Olivia, and Alex getting help from Grammie (Neala's Mom) as they got ready to practice walking down the aisle.

October
We have been a busy family lately, as we usually are.
Recently, I was affected by the Government Shutdown and was out of work for two and a half weeks. I have to admit that it was kind of nice, especially after we found out that we would be back paid for the time we were not at work. I was actually able to get a few things checked off my mental "To Do" list that have been on there forever. Also, I was able to get out a few times to go for a bike ride, do some short jogs/runs, and swim laps at the local Rec Center.
Over Columbus Day weekend, we all drove down to North Carolina to visit Dave's Family. We enjoyed spending time with Nanny (Dave's Mom) and Chuck(Dave's brother)and Deanna (Dave's sister-in-law) and their children and grand children. We also took a day trip to Charlotte, NC to check out the city as a potential place to live later on. We really like it down there and may move down there later.
The following weekend we all flew up to Michigan to celebrate the wedding of my sister, Kendra, to my new brother-in-law, Rob. We were all in the wedding. I was a Bridesmaid, Dave was a Groomsman, Alex was the handsome ring bearer and Aubrey was a very beautiful flower girl. We all enjoyed the wedding ceremony. The reception was a lot of fun too. Aubrey danced the entire time. She only took short breaks to get water and to eat her piece of wedding cake. Alex danced a bit too. He likes to do a little breakdancing. : )
The day after the wedding, some of my family went to a local Boo at the Zoo event. It was very nice and relaxing. I am glad we went. It was a great way to end the weekend. Plus we got some candy along the way. Yum Yum.
So, you may be thinking, "There is something missing here." Well there is. Pictures. On the flight back from Michigan to here, we misplaced my nice camera with all the pictures inside. I am absolutely sick to my stomach about this. We have called all the Lost and Found places we can think of at the airports, shuttles, rental car, baggage, TSA, etc. No luck so far. The airline is still looking for the camera and I have a Lost Item Report in their system. I just hope they find it. Another option was that it was stolen from us at the airport. That makes me sick to think about that too. If they wanted the camera they could have had it, if only they would have left us the pictures. A camera can be replaced, but the pictures can't be.

Small Town Fall Festival and Apple Picking
Post written by Dave
A few weekends ago we took Neala to do a metric bike ride (63 miles) in a small town in the country. The kids and I needed something to do so we found a local apple festival. It was fun cheap and most importantly the kids had fun! Woo Hoo! They got to play, make crafts, battle each other, eat a funnel cake (their first), get their face painted, and pick apples. Fun was had by all!!

First Week of School Slurpees
In college, my roommate Tami, and I would occasionally head to the local 7-11 for slurpees. A few years ago, she started taking her kids to get a slurpee on the first week of school. I decided it would be a great tradition to start for our family so on the Friday after the frist week of school was over we headed to 7-11 for some slurpees.
First Day of Kindergarten
In early September, Alex and Aubrey started Kindergarten. It was a day full of so many emotions on my part and the kids. Wow, what a day. For the most part it went great. We did have a few little hiccups, but overall it was good. Now that we are a month into school, it is going great and they are getting used to the routine.
